Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in lawn care, groundskeeping, and general landscaping tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Use hand tools and power equipment to trim, prune, and shape plants
- Assist with the installation of landscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls
- Conduct regular inspections of outdoor spaces to identify and address issues
- Perform snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
Requirements:
- Proven experience in landscaping or related field
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant maintenance
- Proficiency in operating hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and digging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
